Ayurvedic massage using only mature sesame oil? Many Ayurvedic massage providers today forgo the use of classic and expensive massage oils for cost reasons. However, the use of so-called “medicated oils” is a hallmark of authentic Ayurvedic massage practice.

As a cost-effective alternative, we offer the new Classic Ayurveda Kapha Massage Oil. It consists of precious Sahacharadi Thailam, mature organic sesame oil, and medicated sage and mint oils tailored to the dosha. Sahacharadi Thailam traditionally has a calming effect on both Kapha and Vata – sage and mint together enhance this effect on Kapha.

The product is traditionally produced in our Ayurvedic oil kitchen in Drestedt. It is a wonderful Shirodhara oil at an affordable price. The oils are available in 200 ml and 500 ml PET bottles, as well as 2.5 and 5 liter dispensers. The dispensers protect the oil from light and air, even over extended periods. The inner pouch acts as an oxygen barrier. As the oil is dispensed, the pouch shrinks, preventing air or oxygen from entering. This preserves the oil long-term, preventing oxidation and rancidity.

Application: Place the massage oil in a warm place before use Gently warm the water bath.
