How to perform Ayurvedic self-massage:

Shake the bottle before use and warm the oil in a suitable container. We recommend self-massage 1 to 3 times per week.

1. Warm the Ayurvedic oil: It should be warm and pleasant to the touch.

2. Begin by applying the oil to your head: Gently massage your scalp for a few minutes.

3. Continue with your face: Massage in gentle, circular motions. Remember to include your neck. If you are only massaging your face, proceed with cleansing using a warm, damp towel and cleansing milk. Otherwise, continue with the body massage.

4. Now apply the oil to your entire body. Massage your arms and legs in long, linear strokes; massage joints in circular motions. Massage your abdomen in a clockwise direction.

5. Leave the oil on for a few minutes.

Remember that Ayurvedic oil should always be removed no later than one hour after application: The oil draws toxins to the surface, which then need to be rinsed away.

We recommend applying the shower gel (e.g., “Kapha Herbal Soap” or “Aloe Vera and Neem Shower Cream, BDIH”) to your skin with a little water before showering.
