Triphala, also known as the Three Fruits, is one of the most important dietary supplements in Ayurveda and is considered a key Rasayana for supporting overall vitality. The proven combination of Amalaki, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki harmoniously balances all three doshas – Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. While Amalaki primarily calms Pitta, Haritaki balances Vata, and Bibhitaki soothes Kapha.
Classic Ayurveda’s Triphala is distinguished by its exceptional quality. Only organically grown fruits are used, which are dried gently at temperatures below 42°C. This process preserves the plants’ natural ingredients better than conventional air drying. The fruits are then carefully ground into a fine powder. The resulting Churna meets the guidelines for raw food products and was specially produced for AyuCare GmbH.
According to Ayurvedic teachings, Triphala has a complex flavor profile, with pungent, bitter, sweet, astringent, and sour notes. It has a light and dry quality, a warming effect, and leaves a sweet aftertaste after digestion. Furthermore, it promotes the formation of Ojas (vital energy).
