Organic black Urad beans, peeled and split
Urid Dal (also called “Urad Dal”) is prepared from peeled and split black Urd-beans, and is of brilliant white color. Urid Dal is used mainly for South Indian dishes such as Idly, Pongal, Vada, Dosa, or Poppadoms, and sometimes also for soups. Like all leguminous plants, Urid Dal very rich in protein and is therefore strongly recommended especially for a vegetarian nutrition.
